An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Edrington Sweden as our new Sales Manager, Prestige and Key Cities. The purpose of this position is to lead the Swedish on-trade business with a clear focus on our ultra-premium brands in luxury and influential outlets. This includes the responsibility to drive profitability while also delivering individual brand strategies for the channel. A key aspect of the role is also to lead the team of 5 Account Managers, ensuring that they are highly motivated to deliver our strategy. Edrington Sweden also distributes the portfolios of Beam Suntory, Lucas Bols and EPI Champagne.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager for Edrington Sweden, key responsibilities for the role include:
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with delivering commercial results. Target-driven and results-focused, combined with strong P&L management.
- Responsibility to drive and control profitability for the on-trade channel. Ensure commercial results are delivered.
- Ensuring brand strategies are implemented and giving input on investments to deliver the plan.
- Own the financial budgeting and forecasting for on-trade.
- Lead channel and customer planning process for on-trade.
- Plan brand initiatives on trade together with trade marketing.
- Set distribution and menu KPIs in line with the Nordic strategy and utilises Salesforces and PowerBI reports for fact-based decision-making.
- Execute the pricing strategy in on trade including pricing management between customers.
- Lead and develop the on-trade price support ways of working including control, reporting, and accrual management.
- Line Manager responsible for the on-trade sales team, Account Managers.
- Continually ensure the strive for Executional Excellence in our prestige brand activations.
- Collaborate with the respective brand teams to develop and execute the commercial and brand strategy.
- Regular connection and collaboration with Sales Manager, National Accounts to ensure correct customer split and aligned strategy.
To be successful in the role, you will be educated to a degree level in a suitable discipline with working experience in commercial roles. You understand the spirits and/or luxury industry and have the ability to form and develop strong relationships. You have previously worked with brand strategy implementation, and you should also have experience in P&L management. Experience in effectively leading and managing a team is imperative for this position. If you have previous experience working in Salesforce or PowerBI this is also advantageous. As a person, you possess excellent organisational skills and a solution-oriented mindset. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
